The Chester Grosvenor
Despite his passion for all things culinary, Ben wasn’t sure he wanted a career in catering and subsequently embarked on a seven year Degree in Architecture after he left 6th Form.
“I had always enjoyed cooking at home. After about 18 months at University, I decided my future lay in professional cookery and left to find an Apprenticeship in that field”.
Ben’s Apprenticeship at The Chester Grosvenor has seen him move around the kitchen gaining experience and developing his knowledge in the different aspects of the role of a professional chef. The role is very varied and each day Ben receives support and guidance from experienced chefs.
“I love it – it doesn’t even feel like work – I just love going there! Every day I learn something new or I get shown how to do something better which is fantastic”.
