Workshops:

  • Creating Levy Flexibility

For the levy to create maximum impact, it needs to be flexible to keep pace with changing demand. This workshop will examine how the mechanisms underpinning the levy can be adapted to respond directly to the skills needs of industry. Topics that will be covered include looking at new ways of allocating the 10% underspend for levy paying employers and expanding the types of activity that can be funded through levy payments.

  • End point assessment and employer engagement

Ensuring that end point assessment processes are in place for all apprentices has been an area of critical importance since the introduction of the levy and the move from standards to frameworks. This workshops will look at some of the issues and solutions surrounding end point assessments and how new approaches to employer engagement in apprenticeship delivery can be developed.

  • Developing skills and talent attraction

Apprenticeships will play a key role in closing our national skills gap and they will be an important source of talent for both large and small employers. This workshop will look at the wider role that apprenticeships can play in meeting our national skills needs, and how apprenticeships will play a crucial role in creating a highly skilled and adaptable workforce.

Join us for a drinks reception sponsored by Mindful Education from 4:30 pm till 7:00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you.
