Ahead of the budget on the 11th March, Collab Group has produced a series of policy recommendations that we think should inform the direction of future government spending within the further education sector.
We have developed the policy 'asks', in consultation with its membership. These asks are intended to enable the FE sector to plan and perform more effectively, to increase its financial resilience, and to improve the alignment between FE and the Government's productivity agenda and industrial strategy. The asks relate to four broad themes.

We hope that this document is useful as part of wider conversation about how the further education sector can thrive and succed within this decade and beyond.
