Introduction from Chief Executive Officer

Slavery and human trafficking remain a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibly to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain. Staff are expected to report concerns and management are expected to act upon them.

ORGANISATION’S STRUCTURE

Collab group is a membership body of further education colleges. There are currently 32 colleges who are members of the group. Collab Group is based out of Westminster Kingsway College in London, UK and is a private enterprise Limited by Guarantee. Collab Group is not legally required to produce a publish a policy as its turnover does not meet the £36 million threshold. However, we have produced this statement as a demonstration of the seriousness with which we take the principles therein.

OUR BUSINESS

Collab Group colleges pay a membership fee for which they receive membership, commercial and policy related services.

OUR SUPPLY CHAINS

Collab Group coordinates training programmes on behalf of employers which are delivered by member colleges. Our supply chains include our member colleges as well as other commercial partners.

OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:

  • All commercial partners must undergo a thorough vetting and due diligence process before they can be absorbed into the Collab Group supply chain.
  • All Collab Group member colleges are required to undergo a thorough vetting and due diligence process before they can become members during which they must confirm their compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
  • We have in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle blowers.

SUPPLIER ADHERENCE TO OUR VALUES

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values.
